Angie Schueller

Angela Lucy Schueller of Lansing, MI, passed away June 21, 2023 at the age of 93. Angie was born February 1, 1930 in Fowler, MI to Albert and Mary Spitzley. She graduated from Fowler High School in 1948 and married her husband Bob on May 29, 1952. They were married for 45 years.

Angie was head baker for the Lansing School District/Dwight Rich Jr. High for 16 years, a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church, enjoyed singing in the choir and also a life member of the VFW 701 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed music, singing, camping and being outside in the summer. She was a fun loving, caring woman and an amazing Mom and Grandma.

She is predeceased by her parents, husband Bob in 1997, brothers Art and Ken and sister Genny.

Surviving to cherish their memories of Angie are four children: Sandy (Jim) Smith of Bellaire, Don (Sandy) Schueller of Grand Rapids, Nancy (DeKevin) Thornton of Petoskey and Sue (Steve) Householder of Lansing; ten grandchildren: Rhonda, Jim, Mike, Heather, Lindsey, Kelsey, Spencer, Amber, Logan and Grant; eight great-grandchildren: Alex, Jimmy, Lucas, Allyson, Tucker, Blane, Caden and Morgan and sisters, Bea and Karen.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Sarah from Corso Care Hospice.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023, 11:00 am at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing, MI with visitation one hour prior. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 30, 6-8 pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W. Saginaw St., Lansing, MI.

Interment will follow the service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing, MI.
