Kabia loved the Lord and taught vacation Bible school in the family’s backyard. She was an active member of South Lansing Church of Christ. She visited nursing homes with her boys when they were small, playing hymns on the organ or piano.
Kabia was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by sisters Jane Armour and June Hinkle; her children, Steven (Natalie) of Virginia Beach, James (Connie) of Lansing, and Paul (Michelle) of Bridgeport, Ohio; in addition to her grandchildren Tara, Sara, Casey, Arron, and Kayla as well as nine great-grandchildren.
