Barbara Louise Echols Doll

Barbara L. Doll, age 54, was born in Moulton, Alabama on October 7, 1958. She was a loving daughter to Eddie and Ola Echols as well as a devoted wife and the best sister anyone could have. Barbara had a kind and sweet gentle spirit, was very generous and very courteous. She always gave more than she took.

Barbara was a very strong Christian and a member of the Rivers of Life Church which she always loved with her whole heart and soul.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Echols; grandparents, Mattie and Collis Lee and Dyke and Annie Echols all of Moulton, Alabama.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Doll, the love of her life who brought so much joy and happiness to her. He remained devoted and by her side every step of her journey; her mother Ola Mae Echols of Moulton, Alabama; brother, DeAngelo (Rhonda) McDaniel of Moulton, Alabama; sister, Aleta Ann Gadis (Ezell) Echols of Flint, MI; and many nieces and nephews, as well as special friends, Alberto and Jeaneen Pedraza, and Curtis and Sherrie Jackson.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Mt. Hope Church, 202 S. Creyts Rd., Lansing, MI with Pastor Brigitte Brown officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 18, 2013 from 2:00~4:00 PM and 6:00~8:00 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes 900 E. Michigan Ave. Lansing, MI and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Contributions may be made to the Rivers of Life Church, 2495 Cedar St., Holt Michigan in memory of Barbara.
