(Mueller)
Delta Twp.
Age 62, our loving, devoted wife, sister, aunt, and friend went home to her Lord on Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Born October 15, 1950 in Lansing, MI. Barbara retired in 2008 from the State of Michigan after 40 years of dedicated service. She, along with her husband, was a member of St. Mary Cathedral parish and was content in her faith. Being very active, Barb enjoyed league golf with the gals, decades of aerobic classes at the YMCA, yardwork and tending her annual flowers during summers, and was happiest when socializing with family and friends to whom she affectionately referred to as 'my people'. She found purpose and enjoyed being a 'lunch lady' at St. Gerard grade school cafeteria during the year and was fond of the kids. Her free-spirit approach to life, linked together with a cheerful sense of humor, quick wit, and acute insights into society gave her a natural ability to easily make friends and keep them for a lifetime. No gathering, regardless of size, was ever complete without Barb. She was best-friend to many and is leaving a void that will not be filled.
Surviving are her husband of 27 years, David Fox; step-son, Gabriel Fox of Oregon; step-granddaughter, Amelia Cabellero-Fox; brother, Donald (Claudia) Mueller and their sons Eric, Benjamin and Alex; sister, Lisa (Kevin) Orleskie and their sons Nathan and Bradley; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Gerhart & Kathryn Mueller.
