When Irish eyes are smiling
Sure, 'tis like the morn in Spring
In the lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear the angels sing
When Irish hearts are happy
All the world seems bright and gay
And when Irish eyes are smiling
Sure, they steal your heart away
Bernadine Eileen (Sheehan) Mangan of Charlotte, NC, formerly of Lima, NY known as Bern to family and friends, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the age of 86.

Bern had written her own epitaph many years ago as part of a class she took, which read -
HERE LIES BERN
She loved to dance.
