Bernice May Newman

She was born October 16, 1923 in Elsie, Michigan to Thomas and Vera (Hustin) Bouch. Bernice worked at Oldsmobile, and retired from the State of Michigan. She loved to play bingo, cards, dance, go to the casino, go fishing, and to travel. For the majority of Bernice’s life, she lived in Lansing. After retiring, she moved to Gibson, FL, Zephyrhills, FL, back to Lansing, then finally to Edmond, OK.

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband (Clair Newman) & daughter (Mary Lee Skaggs).

She is survived by her 3 children, Evelyn (Robert) Burgen, Clair (Shirley) Newman, and Linda (Edward) Lotoszinski. She had 20 Grandkids, and 16 Great Grandkids.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Lansing Chapel officiated by Pastor Wes Emerson. Interment will take place Monday, December 29, 2014 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
