of Lansing, MichiganAge 87, died July 9, 2007 in Bryan, Ohio. Betty was born June 30, 1920 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and was the daughter of Clark M. and Mildred I. (Johnson) Hoxie. Betty retired in January 1976 from Fisher Body. After that she spent 10 years as a greeter for the Meijers Store and loved it. Betty was an avid doll collector. She loved her family very much and they were a big part of her life. Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Delbert P. Spencer, Sr; daughter, Annette (Fred) Hammermeister; sons, Delbert (Carol) Spencer, Jr. of Florida, Richard (Hazel) Spencer and Paul (Sandra) Spencer both of Michigan; brother, Albert Town of Michigan; 15 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her son, David Spencer and brother, Richard Hoxie. Graveside Services will be 1:30PM Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Benton Township Cemetery, Vermontville Highway, Potterville, MI.
