Betty Woods passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021. She was born on May 23, 1932 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Robert and Virginia Saunders. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert G. (Helen) Saunders and Jack (Evie) Saunders.
She enjoyed fishing and boating with the two loves of her life and best friends, the late Jerry Holt and their precious dog, Samantha. She was a member of Millet Bible Baptist Church.
Survived by her children, David, Mike, Susan, and Mary; 10 grandkids; 24 great-grandkids.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, February 17 from 10am until 11am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Ave. in Lansing. A private family funeral will be held with Pastor Christopher Bigg officiating.
Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memory Gardens in Lansing, Michigan.
