Age 95, peacefully passed on to her eternal home on December 5, 2016. Born September 18, 1921 in Flint, MI. Blanche was a member of St. Gerard Church and member of the Catholic Women's Circle. She loved flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed fishing, cooking, and baking.
Surviving are her daughter, Alice (James) Shaffer; son, Raynold (Gail) Mance; 4 grandchildren, Penny (Erik) Sather, Tracy Mance, Lauren (Lucas) Query, and Alex Shaffer; 4 great-grandchildren, Molly Sather, and Leilani, Lexie, & Laiklyn Query; and many other family members and friends. Blanche was preceded in death by her husbands Joseph Mance in 1979, Ronald Jones in 1998, and her son, Richard Mance in 2009; her siblings, Mary, Frances, Albert, Anna, Sophie, John, Agnes, Alice, Robert, and Helen.
Visitation is from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday with the Funeral Liturgy 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Fr. David Fons of St. Gerard Church presiding. Rite of committal St. Joseph Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Blanche.
