David Lynn Martenies, age 67, of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Born in Ionia, MI on November 13, 1957, to Benjamin Franklin and Geraline Lovejoy Martenies. They preceded him in death. Dear brother of Maryann Wilkinson, George Whitinger III, Joyce Schultz, Allen Martenies, and Lorraine Martenies; beloved grandfather of several as well as great-grandfather of many. Proud uncle of all of his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Melvin Whitinger, Larry Whitinger, and Wanda Cook. He was proud to belong to the Harrison, MI Moose Lodge #2235 and the Harrison, MI Fraternal Order of Eagles #3541. He really enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hanging out with friends.
