David B. Rozelle

David Bruce Rozelle (1947-2025) passed away on April 13, 2025, at Sparrow Hospital. David was in a car accident about two months ago. Despite many fractures, setbacks, and then hopeful improvements, his lungs and heart could not overcome this level of injury. David was 78 years old and lived in Lansing, Michigan with his wife Judy.

David grew up in Lansing, Michigan and worked for many years at General Motors despite being the most avid and loyal Ford fan. After the GM buyout, David enjoyed other jobs and hobbies that always centered around his love of cars. David’s sense of humor and giving heart was apparent to those who knew him well.

David is survived by his wife Judy; his only son, David Rozelle and wife April of Grand Rapids; three grandchildren, Hailey Nicklowitz, David Rozelle, and Roman Brewster; his sister Suzanne Mocere; nieces Angela Mocere and Mary Jo Webber; as well as his two stepchildren Glenn and Sara Hoyt.

A memorial service has been planned in loving memory of David B. Rozelle (January 22, 1947- April 13, 2025) and will be held on Sunday, April 27th, 2025, at 2:30pm at Life Christian Church, 2560 Eaton Rapids Road, Lansing, MI 48911. Reception and light meal to follow.
