Born August 25, 1945, in Lakeview, Michigan to Clifford and Virginia Swan. David lived a full and meaningful life defined by hard work, integrity and deep devotion to those he loved. He was a man of quiet strength and few words.
He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife, Vonalyn; children, Craig (Lisa) Swan, Ronald (Rose) Swan, Suzanne (Steve) Lucas; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister, Martha Munsell; many nieces, nephews and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Virginia (Foster) Swan; brothers, Ronald (Rusty) Swan, Arthur Swan and sister Judith Meyers.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
