Donna Lee Hartman

Donna Lee Hartman, 93, was lifted up to be with God on May 12th, 2026. She was born on July 31st, 1932, in Sunfield Township, Michigan. Donna resided in her home on Graham Avenue for 70-plus years and was a steadfastly devoted homemaker to her three boys and husband of 66 years, Albert.

Donna and Albert embraced the wider world, traveling as far as Rome, Mexico City, the Outerbanks of Nova Scotia, and all 50 States, to name a few. She also created meaningful educational family vacations with her boys in mind. Moments that took much saving, sacrifice, and attention to detail. Donna has faithfully worshipped at Emanuel First Lutheran Church since 1960. She was also a devout MSU basketball fan and a season ticket holder.

Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert; her mother, Dorothy (Jack); her youngest son, Timothy; and her dear friend Claudia.

Donna is survived by her sons, Gregory Hartman and Brian (Lisa) Hartman; two grandchildren, Hussein (Erika) Hartman and Jessica Hartman, and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 East Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48912, US, on May 18, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Visitation will also be held at Emanuel First Lutheran Church, School & Child Care, 1001 N Capitol Ave, Lansing, MI 48906, US, on May 19, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on May 19, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

A Committal Service will take place at Glendale Cemetery, 2500 Mt Hope Rd, Okemos, MI 48864, US, on May 19, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm, directly after a church luncheon.

Contributions can be made in Donna's name to Emanuel Lutheran Building Fund or to Elara Caring Hospice of Lansing.
