His unexpected passing leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever miss his strong hugs, playful smiles, and dynamic spirit.
To know Donovan’s spirit is to know love.
When he picked on you, you knew it was love. When he would lend a hand on projects, he did so with impressive skill and little complaint. When Donovan asked you how you were doing, he was genuinely interested in knowing.
Donovan was known for his sincerity, but he was especially known for how much fun he was.
When Donovan joined in on family game night, he was playfully competitive and clever. When Donovan played with his nieces and nephews, he’d get down on his hands and knees and play. When he played with dogs, he’d do the same.
That was him, going all in. A spirit full of so much ambition.
When Donovan took on a new interest, he’d study, read, and learn. He was always a learner with sights on the future. Owning a business, homesteading, starting a family were just a few of many dreams. He gave his full heart, and his hard work and loyalty would have taken him anywhere.
Donovan was patient and introspective. He loved the freedom of nature, the breeze over water, and challenge of disc golf and other outdoor activities. He was someone you could stay up with all night sharing stories, someone you could trust your honesty with.
We will miss all this and so much more. We will miss his appetite to try new things and get others to try them, too. We will miss his intellect, taking deep dives into documentaries, and discussing the book he just read. We will miss his humor, witty remarks, and goals for gaining more muscle mass.
Donovan was unique and remarkable right from the start, from his middle names to his innate curiosity. He has left a mark on the lives of everyone he loved.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Daniel and Barbara (Bozung) Millisor, who brought him into this world on February 15, 1990. He is survived also by his siblings, Alexis Zeiler, Damian (Erin) Millisor, Danielle (Daniel) Wells, Vanessa Millisor, Anastasia Millisor, and eight nieces and nephews. He will be missed by a host of aunts, uncles and cousins he knew as his large loving family.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Celina Millisor; grandparents, James and Barbara Bozung and Donald and Shirley Millisor; brother-in-law, Seth Zeiler; uncles, Jim and Ron Bozung; aunt, Susanne Northcutt; and cousin, Chase Millisor.
