Doris Ann Briggs

Doris’ love in life was to teach children; whether it was at the East Lansing Public Schools for 25 years, or in Sunday school. She was a social butterfly who could not find bad in anyone and was a friend to everyone she met. Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband, Richard Briggs. Surviving are her daughter, Lori (Mark) Hinkle; son, Dan Briggs; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Fuqua. Funeral services will be held at the Faith Church, 2300 Lake Lansing Rd., Lansing, MI 48912 on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing. The family will receive friends at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912 on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 5 to 8 PM.
