Eleanor Ann Cochran of Alaiedon Township, passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 85. She was born on February 5, 1940, in Lansing, Michigan to Robert and Eleanor (Evelyn) Mills. Ann graduated from Eastern High School in 1958 and married John C. Cochran in 1959.
She was actively involved for many years in volunteer work at Alaiedon Elementary School, The Jean Granger Clinic, and Sandhill 4-H Club.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Cochran; daughter, Christine Burr; parents Robert and Eleanor Mills; and brother, Robert G. Mills Jr. She is survived by daughters, Lynn (Richard) Cochran-Saldana, Leigh Cochran, and Lauren (Robert) Cochran Sheldon; son-in-law, William Burr; sister-in-law, Nancy Small; and brother, Todd Mills.
The family would like to thank McClaren Hospice-Lansing for the care and compassion they showed Ann in her final days.
A memorial service will be held at Leek Cemetery later this summer.
