Ernest Eugene Smith II

Our son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew and friend Ernest Smith, II, suddenly passed away on Sunday, August 7th, 2016. Ernie was 59. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Smith, and his brother-in-law, Carl Hayes, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Irene Smith of Millington and siblings, Teresa Hayes of Lansing, Millie Smith of Davison, and James Smith and Natalie Smith of Millington. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews: Andrea Lorigan, Jonathan (Alexandra) Hayes, Michelle (Brandon) Wolvin, Jeff Smith, Justin Gullett, Alexander Meredith, Sean Lorigan, Maggie Lorigan and Ryan Hayes. Ernie had wonderful close friends too: Bruce Call, Brian Musser, Carolyn Watters, Jason Swain, Robert Shattuck, and Michael Hayes Junior and Senior. Ernie had many cousins, aunts and uncles, co-workers and others who will miss him greatly.

A memorial service for Ernie will be held on Tuesday, August 16th, 2016 at 11:00am at Valley Farms Baptist Church in Lansing, Michigan (Dewitt Township). The address is 1141 E.
