

Fred graduated from Peake High School located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Fred was a hardworking man who dedicated 42 years to General Motors and was also a businessman as well as an entrepreneur. Fred was a God-fearing man who stood on principles, morals, and a no-nonsense man. Fred was well-respected within his community. He was a Baptist spiritual man who was always donating to the community and the less fortunate. He loved sports, specifically softball, winning various awards throughout the years for his dedication to the craft. He has a fond love for Michigan State Teams, dedicating many years of service to the company.
Fred is survived by his spiritual partner of 18 years, Angie; two sons, Gregory and Paul Duncan; grandchildren, Carshonda, Isiah, Kyle, and Gary, and great-grandchildren, Sienna, King, Savannah, Kyren, Lonnie, Sophia, and Cameron, four siblings Clarence Duncan, Terry Duncan, Velvely Ann Thomas Douglas, and Martha Miles. Mr. Duncan is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Marvin (1965), Hollis (2009), Riley (2013), Gloria Walker (2014), Betty Giles (2022), and Cora Duncan (2022).
Visitation for Mr. Duncan will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home on 900 E. Michigan Ave. in Lansing, Michigan on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
