Born and raised in Charlotte, Michigan, George's early years were filled with adventure and hard work. He earned his pilot's license as a young man and spent time crop dusting.
Eventually, George settled in Lansing, where he planted deeper roots to raise a family. On August 8, 1959, he married the love of his life, Betty Jean. They welcomed four children into their lives, and George took immense pride in watching them grow.
He dedicated 32 years of service to General Motors. Outside of work, George lived for the outdoors and hands-on hobbies. He was happiest camping under the stars, fishing by the lake, or cruising in a boat. He was an avid golfer and bowler and could often be found in his workshop, where he crafted wood with care and precision.
A life lived with purpose and a man loved by many — George Brundage will be deeply missed.
