On Wednesday, March 31, 2021 Greg Alan McClain, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 64. He was born February 21, 1957 in Lansing to James and Elizabeth (Reese) McClain. On May 27, 1995 Greg married Susan Patterson. He spent his time working as a mechanic and over the road truck driver for many years.

He was a die hard Michigan fan and enjoyed spending time at his cottage. Greg was an old car enthusiast, especially for his 1955 Olds, which his step-dad and him fixed up and took to car shows. Greg had a soft spot for spending time with family during the holidays, watching movies and dressing up as The Grinch.
Surviving is his wife of 26 years, Susan (Patterson) McClain; mother, Elizabeth McKinley; children, Heather (James) Waters, Melissa McClain, and Amanda (Steve) Andre; grandchildren, Tiyler, Lucas, Caleb, and Lucy; siblings, Sheri (Lorna Stone) Sivec, Scott McClain, Kelli (Mark) Koonter, and Laurie Johnson; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, James McClain; step-father, Donald McKinley; sister, Jackie Roy; and loving grandparents.
