I am So Sorry to Hear about the loss of such a Magnificent Soul, Michael I’m so Sorry for your personal Loss, I remember meeting D at the travelers café in Okemos Michigan while I was visiting from West Virginia taking my great aunt Madeline‘s car to be repaired in the cold weather nearby he took me under his wing and I sought refuge of evenings during my visits to Lansing and Okemos I remember going to his and Michael‘s home in Lansing and their beloved dog Phaedra may you Rest In Peace Sweet Prince, All my Love Sam Wiland, Clarksburg WV

Dee was the love of my life. My fondest memories will be of him. It’s hard to believe that it’s five years. I miss him every day. 

I am so sorry to see that D has passed. Now he is liberated from all earthly pain. I am glad to have once known him. Rest in love and peace D.

May my brother rest in peace whose maternal and paternal origins goes back into the country sides of England.  I shall miss my younger brother very much.  Rest in peace, brother.  Bill

Over 20 years ago D. Thomas taught a modern jazz class I took at Lansing Community College. I didn't realize at the time that he was a paesano, but it makes sense now as I remember the slender man with a shock of dark hair. A nice Italian boy. That he was. And he was a kind, enthusiastic teacher. My memory of him is vivid. I'm sorry he's gone. May he rest in peace.

Your light will never go out. It's glow has brought so much to so many. It will continue to shine within all of us who have known and loved you.

Fifty five years my dearest, my soulmate, my friend. I will miss you all the days of my life. God grant you peace. Now you can breath. Now you can dance. Dance on my Dearest, dance on.
