
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved son, brother, and friend, Isaac Elijah Van Belois, who entered eternal rest on July 12, 2025, at the tender age of 17. Born on November 1, 2007, in Lansing, Michigan, Isaac was a vibrant presence in the lives of many, always characterized by his infectious laughter and warm smiles that brought joy to everyone he encountered.
Isaac was the cherished son of Victoria Van Belois, who preceded him in death, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew her, especially her beloved son. He is also preceded by his sister, Alexandria Berg, whose spirit now accompanies him in memory and love.
Isaac is survived by his devoted brothers, Malik Van Belois, Trey Van Belois, Joseph Rood, Christopher Davis Jr., and Quinton Combs, who shared countless memories filled with laughter and love.
Isaac was a student at Beekman Center, where his love for music and dancing shone brightly. He embraced every opportunity to express himself. His vibrant personality and joyful spirit left a mark on his peers and educators alike.
Though his time on this earth was far too short, Isaac's impact was profound. He had a unique ability to brighten any room with his laughter. Friends and family remember him as a source of light. His legacy is one of love, joy, and a reminder of the beauty of life, even in its fleeting moments.
A Celebration of Life to honor Isaac will be held on July 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the Eldorado Event Center at 5206 S Cedar Street, Lansing, MI 48911. We invite all who knew and loved him to join us in remembering the joy he brought to our lives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ingham ISD - Beekman Center at 2901 Wabash Road, Lansing, MI 48910, to support programs that allowed Isaac to flourish and shine.
Isaac Elijah Van Belois will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His memory will live on in our hearts and minds, reminding us to cherish every moment and to always find reasons to smile. Rest in peace, sweet Isaac. You brought so much joy to our lives, and your spirit will forever remain a part of us.
