James G Drake passed away December 29, 2021. James was born February 17, 1945 to James Allen and Francis Drake. James loved fishing and camping. After graduating from Eaton Rapids High School, he went to work for General Motors as a Machine Repairman where he would spend 42 years before retiring.
James is survived by his beloved wife Marquita (Marty) Drake of 49 years; son Lindsey Harper (Terri Harper); daughter Wendy Zamora (Phil Zamora). 4 grandchildren, Joshua Harper, Halie Harper, Nicole O’Neil and Melinda Burpee. 6 great grandchildren; Jackson, Brooklyn, Tyler, Celora, Chase, Ryleigh; Brother Gregory (Tammy) Drake. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Linda Sebastian.

A committal service will occur Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Deepdale Memorial Gardens, 4108 Old Lansing Rd, Lansing, MI 48917.
