Age 83, our loving mother and grandmother passed away on March 10, 2017. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She earned her Master's degree at IU and was a proud member of Zeta Tau Alpha. Janet retired from the Lansing School District after many enjoyable years as a teacher. She enjoyed boating, dancing, playing cards, spending time with family and traveling whenever possible. Janet is missed greatly by her family, although we still feel her spirit with us.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, David & Amy Wright; 2 grandchildren Annabelle Wright, and Maxwell Wright; and many other family members and friends. Janet was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:30 P.M. Wednesday, with a Memorial service beginning at 6:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing with Rev. James E. Robinson officiating. Contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society in memory of Janet.
