Age 83, passed away on April 20, 2013. He was born March 15, 1930 in Cadillac, MI, the son of the late John and Josephine (Pappin) Colby. Preceded in death by his wife, Michele on March 26, 1991, they married September 18, 1954 and enjoyed 36 years together; sisters; Glorianna Todd and Yvonne P. Colby; and brother, Jack Colby. John is survived by daughters, Terry Colby and Jenifer Colby; son, Mark (Kathy) Colby; grandchildren, Morgan Colby and Matthew Bonikowski; many nieces and nephews; brother, Robert L. (Sherry) Colby; and special friend, Barbara Sealy. John was a graduate of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, he was retired from AT&T as Senior Troubleshooter, and enjoyed Finance and Investments.
