Age 71, our loving husband, dad, grandpa, and brother went to be with our Lord on Friday, March 27, 2020. Born November 16, 1948 in New York, NY and soon moved to Lansing, MI. John worked in manufacturing at R.F. Fink for 16 years. He later worked as sales associate for several retailers. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Charlotte, MI.
Survived by his wife, Judith Anderson-Russo; 3 daughters, Johnni Sue Longwell, Nicole Russo, and Barbara Russo; son, Shaun (Leanna) Barnes; brother Robert (Marilyn) Russo; 4 grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Jo and Albert Russo, and recently brother, William Russo.
A memorial event will be planned for a later date when all family and friends can join to celebrate John’s life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Eaton County Health and Rehabilitation Services in memory of John.
