She was a very devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved to garden, crochet, roller-skate, and spend time with family. She worked for GM in data entry until she retired in 1996.
She leaves behind her Daughter, Jennifer Hemstreet; Son, Jeffery Hemstreet; Grandaughter, Brooke Hemstreet; Grandson, Connor Hemstreet; Sisters, Jerri Womack and Janet Lasure; Brother, Jack (Jean) Holliday; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Irwin and Violet Holliday.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 6-8pm at Gorsline Runciman - 900 E Michigan Ave. Lansing, MI 48912 with funeral service to follow on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 11am at Gorsline Runciman with procession to Chapel Hill for burial.
