June D. Martin, 82, went home to the Lord on June 27, 2018. She was born in Lansing to Charles and Esther Medlock. She was preceded in death by her son Scott and is survived by the love of her life George Martin. From childhood sweethearts to married for 65 years they had a strong, loving partnership. June is also survived by her daughters; Gayle (John) Virnich and Julie (Rich) Phelan, a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A woman of strong faith she was an active member of Mt. Hope Church until she and her husband relocated to SC.
Please join her family for visitation at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home (900 E. Michigan Ave, Lansing, Michigan 48912) on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 10-11am, followed by the Funeral Services at 11am. Interment at Deepdale Memorial Gardens at 2pm.
