Her life was a powerful testimony of perseverance and faith. Though she endured significant hardships in her early years, she did not allow them to define her as a victim. Instead, she leaned on her relationship with the Lord, trusting Him to sustain her through every season. Her trials deepened her compassion and strengthened her commitment to love others well.
While living at The League of Catholic Women, she was given the opportunity to pursue nursing program at St. Lawrence Hospital. She became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and began her career serving in the Intensive Care Unit, where her skill and steady presence ministered to families during some of their most critical moments.
She was known for her generosity and kind heart, often giving quietly and sacrificially. She had a cheerful, outgoing spirit and never met a stranger. Her warm smile, pleasant nature, and ability to make others laugh brought joy wherever she went. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren dearly and spoke of them with great delight and affection.
For a season she was actively involved at Mount Hope Church in Lansing, serving in Cleansing Stream Ministries and participating in construction mission trips to various countries. She also enjoyed traveling, including meaningful trips to Vietnam and Israel.
