

Kenneth Curtin, beloved husband, father, son and brother, born in Lansing on February 13, 1963, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012. Ken attended Resurrection School and graduated from Eastern High School in 1981. He was married to his wife, Sharie, for 23 years and employed by UPS. Ken blessed us with a beautiful life of 49 years. He strived to work his hardest, whether being a father, a UPS driver or a handyman around the house. His 21 years of being a father here on this earth may have past, but his legacy and loving example will live on through those he touched. Ken was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Anthony Brink and nephew, Alex Krauss. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharie; children, Alana, Katarina, Collin, Eliza and Clay; parents, William and Betty Curtin; brothers, Larry (Bonnie) Curtin and Tim (Marty) Curtin; sisters, Sue ( Brant) Krauss, Mary Anne (Bob) Park and Lisa (Tim) Stacey; mother-in-law, Rita Brink; brothers-in-law, Bernie (Olga) Brink, John Brink, David (Amy) Brink; and sisters-in-law, Michelle Leyko and Colleen (Dave) Radke and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral mass for Ken will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 7:00 pm at The Church of the Resurrection, 1531 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, with Fr. Steve Mattson presiding. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-10pm on Tuesday, December 11 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Lansing Chapel, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing, with rosary at 8pm, and from 6-7pm on Wednesday at the Church of the Resurrection. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the CURTIN CATHOLIC EDUCATION FUND and sent to Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Lansing Chapel.
