Kevin A. Rothenberg, age 57, of Long Lake in Cloverdale, Michigan died, suddenly, Saturday, February 7, 2015, at his residence.
Kevin, son of Alfred and Gail (Estabrook) Rothenberg, was born on June 6, 1957 in Buffalo, New York. Kevin was a 1975 graduate of Springville-Griffith Institute High School and he continued his education at Northwood University in Midland, Michigan. Kevin was a "jack-of-all-trades" and held various jobs in New York and in Michigan. He enjoyed living and entertaining at his house on Long Lake. He liked cars, gardening, canning and fishing. More than anything, Kevin loved his dogs, most recently, Gotti.
Surviving are his mother and father, Gail and Alfred Rothenberg, of Colden, NY; his brother, Eugene (Sharon) Rothenberg of Richland, MI; his two nieces, Karalea (Joseph) Jasiak of Indianapolis, IN and Kathleen Rothenberg of Miami Beach, FL.
A Memorial Reception will be held on Friday, February 20th from 4:30-6:30pm in the Fireplace Room/Gull Prairie Room at the First Presbyterian Church of Richland, 8047 Church Street, Richland, Michigan.
A Memorial Reception will also be held on Sunday, March 1st from 2-4pm at the Fireside Inn, 12133 Vaughn Street, East Concord, New York.
Donations in memory of Kevin may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Richland or the Barry County Humane Society.
