Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away June 3, 2012 at the age of 87. The

daughter of Nora and Lloyd Adams, Louise was born March 30, 1925 in McKenzie, Tennessee. She was a longtime resident of Lansing and a graduate of Lansing Sexton High School. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Virgil C. Dunckel, four children, Creig (Priscilla) of Dallas, TX; Ronald (Barb) of Dallas, TX; Gary (Mary) of Laingsburg, MI; and Joan Dunckel Johnson (Gary) of Holt MI; seven grandchildren, Denise Dunckel of Washington, DC; Darren (Erin) Dunckel of Los Angeles, CA; Justin (Stephanie) Dunckel of Huntington Woods, MI; Erin (Paul) Lalone of Grand Rapids, MI; Noelle Dunckel of Indianapolis, IN; Alexis

(Mitch) Woodruff of Mason, MI and Brandon Johnson of Lansing, MI and twelve great-grandchildren. Louise enjoyed writing, keeping in touch with her many friends around the world, spending time with her family and the color red. She was a longtime member of Mount Hope Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Thursday, June 7 at Mount Hope Presbyterian Church 301 W. Jolly Rd, Lansing with internment following at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 6 from 6 - 8pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 3100 West Rd., Bldg.
