Lucy Lee Armour

Lucy L. Armour, born December 22, 1924 in Luxora, Arkansas, passed into glory on February 5, 2014 at the age of 89. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed singing and gardening. A resident of Lansing since 1976, Lucy leaves behind her children, Lula Travier, Rev. Joanne Moore, Loreta Holliday, Jacqueline Abraham, Cynthia Evans, Patrick Smith and Teina Christian all of Lansing; Willie Mae Wilhite of Las Vegas, NV; Cora (Oszie) Coleman of Peoria, IL, Linda Williams of St. Louis, MO, and Isaac Smith of Matteson, IL; a brother, Robert Travier of Chicago, IL, several grandchildren, great & great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Mother Lucy Armour will be held Friday, February 14, 2014, 12 Noon, at Mt. Zion All Nations Bible Church, 10575 S. Krepps Rd., Dewitt, Michigan with Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
