Lula Mae Travier

Age 74, passed away on October 21, 2015 in Lansing, Michigan. She was born in LaValle, Missouri on September 28, 1941, the daughter of Earl and Lucy Lee (Travier-Armour) Towers. She graduated from Washington High School in Caruthersville, Missouri. She moved to Lansing in 1967 and has resided in Lansing for 48 years. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business from Michigan State University in 1976. She retired as a Supervisor, from General Motors - Oldsmobile Division, after over 17 years.

Lula was preceded in death by her parents, son George Travier, and one sister and 10 brothers. She is survived by sons, Kenneth R. Travier of Lansing, MI and Timothy E. Travier of Maumee, OH and daughter, Awilda M. (Joe) Rozier of Byron, GA, sisters Willie M. Wilhite of Las Vegas, NV, Cora (Oszie) Coleman of Peoria, IL, Linda Williams of St. Louis, MO, Joanne Moore of Surprise, AZ, Loreta Holliday, Jacqueline Abraham, Cynthia Evans, and Teina Christian all of Lansing, MI, brothers Isaac Smith of Matteson, IL, and Patrick Smith of Lansing, MI, grandchildren Shantel Bandy of Byron, GA and Chantone Cannon of MD.

A celebration of her life will be Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Tiffany Funeral Home 3232 West Saginaw, Lansing, MI 48917 with visitation one hour prior to service.
