Lyleen Ann Haller, age 84 of Williamston, MI, passed away thursday, November 12, 2020. Lyleen was born on September 26, 1936 in Howell, Michigan the daughter of Lyle and Dorothy (Walker) Schnackenberg.
Lyleen graduated from Howell High School and went to Alma College. There she realized that she was in love with her school friend, Jim Haller. He was in the military stationed in Germany where she joined him in marriage. After two years of seeing some of Europe and giving birth to their first son, Greg, they returned to Howell where their second son, Rick, was born. Eventually they moved to a beautiful farm in Chelsea, MI. Here they enjoyed the country life and raised horses. Here they adopted Jodi and Nichole.
Lyleen has always loved children and later in life she found enjoyment working for Williamston United Methodist Church in the Nursery and as a noon-aid at Williamston elementary school.
Lyleen will be remembered for her strong ability to love and care for others, her bright smile and infectious laugh and the amazingly positive attitude she kept throughout life despite many trials and tribulations.
Lyleen is survived by her sons; Richard Harold Haller and her adopted son; Devon Lyle Haller, her adopted daughter Nicole; a brother;Richard Verne Schnackenberg; a sister; Linda Sue Schnackenberg; grandchildren; Jack, Adie, Lillie and Trent Tryggestad.
Lyleen is proceeded in death by; her son; Greg Stephen Haller; her adopted daughter; Joanna Sue Haller.
A graveside service is being planned for the family.
