Marlene June Stillman

Marlene June Stillman of Haslett and Mecosta, formerly of Okemos, passed away April 14, 2020 at the age of 87. She was born June 19, 1932 to Clifford and Ethel Hart, who preceded her in death, along with siblings, Velma Womboldt, Charles Hart, Maxine Hilliker and Betty Post.

Marlene married John “Jack” R. Stillman on April 27, 1956, who preceded her in death on January 27, 2013 and in-laws Orla and Grace Stillman of Okemos.

Marlene is survived by sons, Jeffrey (Gloria Hestra) and Scot (Amy Jo) Stillman of Haslett, MI; granddaughter, Susan Jo Stillman of Thailand; triplet siblings, Maurine Prether and Maurice Hart, along with many nieces and nephews.

Marlene worked for Okemos Public Schools food services, retiring after 28 years. She and her family spent many summers on Horsehead Lake, where Jack and Marlene made their permanent home after retirement.

There are not words to express how grateful Marlene’s family is to the entire staff of Robinwood Landing Alzheimer’s Special Care Center and Michigan Premier Hospice for their compassionate care these past few months.
