Born June 1, 1953 to Joseph & Eileen Montgomery, Monte died Monday, July 18, 2011 at the age of 58. Monte is preceded in death by his step son Todd Grant; parents; and brother Pat Montgomery. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 20 years Karen Montgomery; step sons Guy & Robby Grant; sister Jean Gibson; brothers Bill & Tim Montgomery; 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Monte enjoyed sports, the beach and the sun, but he loved golf. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 A.M. Friday, July 22, 2011 with visitation one hour prior at St. Gerard Church, 4437 W. Willow Hwy, Lansing, Fr. Pieter van Rooyen presiding. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Thursday with a vigil service at 7:00 P.M. at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Sagainaw, Lansing.
