Born November 8, 1932 in Crossville, TN the daughter of Seiver and Elizabeth (Norris) Stone. She passed away February 12, 2011 in Lansing at the age of 78. Nellene worked for Quality Dairy as a clerk for 9 years. She enjoyed time with her family; her children and grandchildren were her life. She is survived by 2 daughters, Linda (Steven) Root, Phyllis (Dennis) Dennis; son, Steve (Pamela) Reed; 5 grandchildren, Crystal, Ron, Melinda, Josh and Dillon; 6 great grandchildren, Jastin, Gia, Tony, Kali, Cody and Taylor and 3 sisters, Lee (Wes) Blaylock, Ruby Harding and Hattie Seaman. A service to celebrate Nellene’s life will take place on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 12 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Memory Gardens. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 PM.
