Norma J. Peterson

Age 84, went home to be with her Lord May 8, 2015. Born November 16, 1930 in Lansing, Norma was a devoted member and former Sunday school teacher at Capital City Baptist Church. She loved taking care of her family, she looked forward to having her family dinners, and enjoyed her Soaps.

Norma was preceded in death by her loving husband Jack Peterson; siblings John Thomas, Doris Flanner, Florence Hopkins, and Lilian Casteel. Surviving are her daughters Robin Peterson, Vonnie Wemigwans; grandson Christopher (Susanne) Peterson; step grandchildren Bruno, Carrie, Keesh, and Suzanne Wemigwans; great grandchildren John, Genesis, and Naomi Wooden, and Micheal Eaton; many step great grandchildren; sisters Hazel (Glen) Rodgers, and Helen (Mike) Daley; sisters-in-law Norma Munson, Candy (Dale) Kohagen, Kathy Thomas; brothers-in-law Maynard Markham, Roger (Sheryl) Peterson, Robert Flanner; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 1:00pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, with Pastor Erwin E. Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 Wednesday at the funeral home.
