Ramona L. "Mona" Ridenour

Lansing, MI

Born August 30, 1929 in Lansing, the daughter of the late Reo Dean and Zelma (Husted) Russell, died May 20, 2012 at the age of 82. Mona was a lifelong resident of Lansing. She was a member of the J.W. Sexton class of 1947. She was an avid bowler, and was active on several area leagues. Mona served on the women’s board of directors for the LWBA as well as president of the Waverly 39ers Bowling League. Mona also served many years as a volunteer for the former Lansing General Hospital. Surviving to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 64 years, Rex; daughter Rebecca Fulcher; son, David (Christine) Ridenour; grandchildren, Dawn Fulcher, Jennifer (Tony) Caruso, Marc (Janelle) Ridenour and Marcia (Adam) Kane; and six great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Gorlsine Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 2:00 ~ 4:00 PM and 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
