Age 37, our loving daughter, sister, and aunt was called home to her Lord on May 25, 2016. Born November 7, 1978 in Rochester, Michigan, the daughter of Roger and Judith R. (Sarver) Hackbarth. Becca loved life and loved people. The deep relationships she developed turned friends into her extended family. She always thought of others and their needs before her own and sacrificed to make others happy. She was a listening ear who people could always count on. Becca was a true friend with an easy laugh who would do anything for anyone.

Rebecca earned her Bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University. She has worked at Meijer since 1999, where she was a Product Auditor at their Lansing Distribution Center. She loved everything Disney, cats, enjoyed reading, and was a Civil War buff. She was a lifelong fan of the Green Bay Packers, the University of Michigan (to her family's dismay), and the Detroit Tigers.

Surviving are her father, Roger L. Hackbarth; sister, Kary Hackbarth; brother, Chris (Heather Driscoll) Hackbarth; 2 nieces and nephew, Makenzie, Tyler, and Caleigh Hackbarth; and many other family members and friends. Rebecca was preceded in death by her mother, Judy Hackbarth.

Visitation is from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Tuesday, May 31, at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing, MI. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Street, East Lansing, MI. Friends may visit the guest book at www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com.
