Rebecca Fern Hahn

Lansing, MI

Born January 9, 1938 in Dewitt twp. Michigan. Rebecca ‘Becky’ Fern Hahn passed away at age 73 in Lansing, Michigan surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of Martha and Orlo Jennings. Growing up as an army brat, Becky lived in many places while her dad was in the Army AirCore. Becky graduated from Sexton High School in 1956 and married her husband Marion on September 23, 1961. This year they celebrated their 50th anniversary together. She worked as a Stenographer for the State of Michigan in the DNR Department before her children were born. She loved golf, bowling, painting ceramics for her family, and shopping with her mom. She enjoyed boating, lighthouses and going on camping trips over the years. Her greatest joy was her family and her many pets. Becky is survived by her loving husband Marion Kenneth Hahn; son David L. (Shelene) Hahn of Lansing; daughter Rachelle (William) Feldpausch of St. Johns; brother Chuck (Geri) Jennings of Lansing. Four Grandchildren, Nicholas Hahn, Megan Feldpausch, Jacob Feldpausch, Claire Ann Hahn; and her nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that those desiring may make donations to the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan, 1169 Oak Valley Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48108, or the American Diabetes Association, Memorial and Honor Program, P.O. Box 13067, Alexandria, VA 22312 in Rebecca’s memory. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 7, 2011 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
