Richard Monroe Hudson

Age 73, passed away Monday, July 15, 2013. He was born August 14, 1939 in Lansing, MI the son of Paul and Mary Portia (Hutting) Hudson and they precede him in death. Dick was also preceded in death by brother, Paul Hudson. Dick was an avid Detroit Lions fan as well as a fan of M.S.U. sports. He loved being with family and enjoyed slow dancing, talking with people and making friends everywhere. Dick is survived by siblings: Janet (Robert) Schuster of Little River, S.C., Dick's Twin: William (Marcy) Hudson of Sun City, FL, John (Debbie) Hudson of Cadillac, MI, Michael (Carolyn) Hudson of Lansing, MI and Martin (Judy) Hudson of Holt, MI, sister-in-law: Diane Hudson of Charlotte, MI, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and lots of friends. The family will receive visitors at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 6-8 PM with a Scripture service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Liturgy will be Friday, August 9, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 4437 W. Willow, Lansing with Father John P. Klein officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Friday at church. Inurnment at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Society of St. Vincent DePaul at St Casimir Church.
