Rick is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Powers, two children Danielle (Dan) Titus, Amy Jo Powers, grandson Preston Estrada, brothers Kenny (Lou) Powers, Mike (Anna) Powers.
He was predeceased by his parents Dinkey Powers and Nellie Squires and sons Randy and Chad Powers.
Rick proudly served the United States of America in the Army following high school. Married Nancy Gordon on October 21, 1967 and built a home filled with love. Rick retired from Sparrow Hospital in 2012 and enjoyed yard work, detailing cars, tinkering around in his garage and being a #1 Michigan Fan - GO BLUE!!!
As Rick requested, cremation has taken place and no services are being held at this time.
