

Robert W. Love ?Bob? Lansing Age 81, is resting in the arms of Jesus after a lengthy illness. Bob died December 6, 2012 at his home. Born August 13, 1931 the son of Howard Sr., & Elizabeth Love in Holt, MI. Bob retired in March 1998 as the owner and operator of the Marathon Service Station at the corner of Pennsylvania and Jolly in Lansing after 36 years of service. He loved spending time at his cottage at the Lake, playing cards, and bowling. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Norma J. in 2004; daughter, Mindy Love-Sweeney; grandson, Steven Conn; his parents and 5 sisters and 6 brothers. Surviving are his two daughters, Karen (Fred) Bell and Renee Love; son-in-law, Michael Sweeney; 3 grandchildren: Eric (Hannah) Conn, Cheryl (Joseph) Anzalone, Stacie (Mark) Gay; 5 great-grandchild, Samantha Gay, Aiden Conn, Tyler Anzalone, Alex Conn, and Connor Anzalone; sister, Darlene (William) Burger; brother, Howard (Artie) Love; step-sister, Charlotte Buckner; step-brother, Terry Love; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation is from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday with Funeral Services 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 10, at the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw Lansing, with Rev. Stephen Ezop, Chaplain of Heartland Hospice officiating. Interment East Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 700 W.
