Dear Mains family, oh this man was an instrument of God's to our small family too! His passion for Jesus Christ was so evident anytime we heard him speak. I'm so grateful to GOD that He led us to Rives Baptist back in the 90's when my children were small. Pastor Mains helped me see how important it is to memorize GODS WORD! Love to you all, Can't wait til the KINGDOM COMES!!

Bob was a true encouragement to me during my time as director of Canadian Revival Fellowship. His life touched many people and his ministry pointed many to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We both knew Robert thru South Church. Our sympathy and prayers go out to Mary and Robert's family. He was a blessing to many.

Dear Mary and Family
We just heard from Lou Sutera that your husband 
has entered the gates of Glory. We thank the Lord for this man of faith and vision. Ten years ago he drove alone all the way from Lansing to Hillsborough NB Canada. He came to pray for and encourage the Sutera's during their 21 days of revival meetings. The Lord wonderfully blessed our time together in part due to the faithfulness of prayer warriors like dear Bob. We are thankful for him and we will be praying for you in the days ahead.

Mary we are so sorry for your loss. We did not know you or Bob all that long but in the time we have known you we have grown very fond of both of you.

I don't need to tell you how special Bob is. We were inspired whenever we heard Bob speak scripture. His faith was unwaivering.

Pastor Robert was a most significant influence in our family's walk with Jesus Christ. We were part of the 'founders' of the Frankenmuth Bible Church. It was built with money already in the bank and the sweat of the members and friends of FBC. This Bible principle and many others were taught and lived by Pastor Robert. He is (at this time in our lives) the finest pastor we ever sat under. We loved this man so very much. We are most grateful that our paths crossed in this life and thank God for his ministry to us.

Sorry to hear of Pastor Mains passing. I had nothing but admiration for him. Heaven will be a bit sweeter.

My thought and prayers are with you the family of Pastor Mains. It's been a year os so since I last spoke with him, but he gave me great counsel and encouragement. He was a great man of conviction.

Although we were not at FBC when he was used of God to start the church and minister to its people, we were blessed by later getting to know him when he visited FBC. He was always an inspiration .... particularly when he attended the Sunday School Class that I taught. He kept me "on my toes!" Our prayers are for God to give all members of his immediate and extended family an extra measure of His grace and mercy as they will miss him and may God help each one of you to remember the many blessings he brought your way.

Dearest Mary, We loved your husband, our Pastor. By example, he always taught that we should seek to live our lives in a manner that pleased God. Like so many others, we have personal stories of how he stood beside us in times of personal tragedy and turmoil. We thank God that He sent you to be Pastor's wife. It was clear to us that you made him happy.

He was very special! I will never forget his love of the Lord and what he has meant in my life. God be with the you all.

So sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man of God and we are all better for knowing him. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Knowing Pastor Mains has been a highlight of our lives. He was such a prayer warior and shared the love of his Lord with all who came in contact with him.Scripture was so important and he lived those Words to all of us.
