Robert Clayton Maxey

On Friday, August 13th, 2021, Robert “Bobby” Maxey, a son, brother, a father, and friend, passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 37. Robert will be forever remembered by everyone who had the privilege to know him. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Gabriella and Ambree, his mother Kristin Roberts (Tom), his grandma Joan Casari, and his brothers, Michael and Nick. Robert will also be forever remembered by his niece, nephew, cousins, aunts, uncles, his extended family, and his many dear friends.

Robert went through a lot of trials and tribulations in his short 37 years. Twenty-Eight days ago, we lost his brother Nate. The heartache was very painful and life changing. Unfortunately, Robert could not handle the loss and grief as it was more than he could withstand. He had a way to make anyone smile and always made you laugh. He had great moments in his life with family and friends. Robert had the biggest, loving heart, even with all those battles he faced that left deep scars. Robert has friends and family that will hold their memories near and dear to their hearts. He had a way to talk to people and was very compassionate about his tattooing and his amazing art work. He touched so many lives and made memories last forever with his ink and left messages to those who knew him. He will always be in our hearts.

I am always with you.

When I am gone, release me, let me go.

I have so many things to see and do,

You mustn't tie yourself to me with too many tears,

but be thankful we had so many good years.

I gave you my love, and you can only guess

how much you've given me happiness.

I thank you for the love that you have shown,

But now it is time for me to travel alone.

So, grieve for me a while, if grieve you must

Then let your grief be comforted by love.

So, treasure the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away for life goes on.

and if you need me, call and I will come.

I will be near and if you listen with your heart, you'll hear.

All my love surrounds you soft and clear

And then, when you come this way alone,

I'll greet you with a smile and say "Welcome Home".
