Robert Winter

Born March 1, 1953, Bob passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the age of 58. Bob was a loving, caring brother, son, father, grandfather and friend. He retired from the State of Michigan last year and was enjoying his retirement. He had a passion for painting, jewelry design and travel. He was very capable and was on call to help his family. Bob was a Lansing native and lifelong resident who liked doing yard work, watching movies, all kinds of music, and spending time with his family and friends. Bob spent a lot of his time with his grandson Wyatt, who called him Papa, and will be missed. His favorite place was on Lake Michigan. Preceding Bob in death is his mother, Beverly Jean. He is survived by his sons Joshua (Amanda Willey) Winter, Lucas (Shannon Monroe) Winter; grandchildren Wyatt Winter, Sophia Winter; parents Richard & Norma Winter; brother Kenneth M. (Ginger) Winter; sister Susan K. (Kevin) Koch, niece Kaitlin Koch and nephew Michael Winter. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W.
