of Lansing, MichiganRoland Lester (Dick) Simpson passed away peacefully at home on June 30, 2008. He was born in Grand Ledge, MI on May 25, 1922. He ran his family's business, Simpson's French Dry Cleaner, for many years before working at Fisher Body where he retired after 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Joann of 63 years and his
sister Elizabeth Kish. He is survived by his children: Rick Simpson, Mary Jo Clark, Susan (David) Formenti, Kathy Chambers, Ron (Anita) Simpson,
Debrah Simpson, Melissa (Bruce) Brown & Terry Simpson, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A private celebration of his life was held on Tuesday, July 1, 2008. Memorial contributions can be made to Captial Area Humane Society and Sparrow Hospice.
