So sorry to hear about Ron's passing.  My condolences to his parents, his brother Jon, with whom I went to high school, and the rest of his family.  I fondly remember Ron from my Central Michigan days.  He was always involved with the Beddow-Thorpe dorm activities which created a lot of fun for everyone.

My sincere condolences to Ron's wife and children, together with Ron Sr., Dee and Jon.  I will always treasure the memories of Ron's "coolness" and his smile.  The hours of playing cards and listening to music when we were in high school are some of my fondest high school memories.  Ron will be deeply missed, as his life was a gift to the rest of us.

I met Ron when I joined his Wednesday night Co-ed softball team, Bottoms Up; we played together for several years.  My time with this group of yahoos was the most fun I ever had with a team.  And his post-game writeups - pure genius.  From Casey At The Bat to Classic Rock parodies - I still have a few of them.  Ron was a great leader, a great father, and one of the coolest guys I'll ever know - your life is to be celebrated, and you will be dearly missed.  It was an honor to know you.

I had the privilege of working with Ron on the MiCSES project, and again as an analyst at OCS.  Regardless of our roles, I never felt that I was working for Ron, but always felt that I was working with him.  He earned the respect of those with whom he worked, and was also valued for his sometimes humorous, and different, view on matters.  My prayers are with Ron and with his family.

Sending heartfelt condolances to Dee and Ron Snead during this time of sorrow.  I wish you peace and healing.  May your love of family and friends as well as the cherished memories bring your strength.  Please know my prayers embrace you.

He was a wonderful man, bringing smiles and laughter those around him. I always looked forward to reading his humorous stories and poems. He had a gift. He made work a fun place to be. Ron was not only my boss but a great person to hang with. he made working at Crazy Larry's more fun than just listening and selling music and videos. he expanded my musical taste and as a lover of music, I will always be thankfull. Ron was the spitting image of his dad and mom and I can see where he got his coolness from. the world and I shall truly miss you. My condolences to the family.

Sorry for your loss, Ron was a great guy. He was my brothers supervisor at Crazy Larry's in the late 80's.

It's with deepest sympathy I send my sincere condolences to Ron's family and friends.  Knowing Ron for the past 20 years has been a blessing,as I consider him a close and dear friend .  I miss his sharp wit and humor as he made my time at OCS memorable.  There was never a dull moment when Ron Snead was present!  I feel honored and blessed to have had Ron in my life.

Here was a man who was not only gifted in his spoken and written word, but also a doting father and an excellent manager who took great care of his employees.  His  terrific sense of humor made the mundane fun and memorable. So glad to have known you Boss Man. Thank you for sharing your zest for life! God bless all who knew and loved this  wonderful man; Ron Snead.
